Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist to support a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience assisting with complex cardiac procedures, emergency interventions, and advanced electrophysiology cases in a fast-paced hospital environment. Schedule Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week Days: Variable based on department needs On-Call Requirements Weekday call: 5:00 PM – 6:30 AM Weekend call: 24-hour call coverage Must be available for emergent cardiac procedures and STEMI interventions Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during: Heart catheterizations Electrophysiology (EP) procedures Atrial fibrillation (Afib) ablations Atrial flutter (Aflutter) ablations SVT ablations Pacemaker insertions Emergency STEMI / heart attack interventions Scrub and assist during interventional cardiac procedures Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedure rooms Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiac imaging and mapping systems Monitor patient condition and procedural equipment during cases Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nurses, and anesthesia teams Maintain accurate procedure documentation and equipment readiness Required Experience Strong recent experience in: Cardiac catheterization lab procedures Electrophysiology procedures Interventional cardiology cases Emergency cardiac interventions Ability to independently scrub interventional cardiac procedures Experience with: GE MacLab Phillips X-ray systems Carto mapping system Farapulse Impella Shockwave Preferred Experience Ability to scrub EP procedures independently Experience in high-volume or high-acuity Cath/EP labs Experience responding to emergent STEMI cases Additional Requirements Must live 100 miles away from facility Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in fast-paced, unpredictable procedural environments About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
