This inpatient role requires the candidate to produce diagnostic MRI scans, assist radiologists and referring physicians with MRI procedures, and ensure patient care while representing the organization. Job Details: Location: Reno, NV Shift: 3x12-hour shifts, weekends, varied graveyard shifts, with potential for call shifts and holidays Required Qualifications: Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI, BLS (Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association), NV and NV licenses, at least 2 years of MRI experience, experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners, and ability to work in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is a plus Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, with schedule varying based on departmental needs and including weekends, holidays, and call shifts Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May work major holidays and extra shifts during the schedule period. Additional Information: The position is located in a Level II trauma center with high patient volume, serving a 500-mile radius. The hospital has extensive capabilities including neurology, cardiac, trauma, and advanced imaging technologies. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with hospital computer systems and maintain high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
