The Field Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing equipment at customer locations throughout the United States. Serving as a primary technical resource for the Service Department, this role resolves customer issues through phone, email, remote support, and onsite service while ensuring equipment is installed and operating to company and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include installing and verifying customer-owned equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical and repair issues, maintaining accurate service documentation, managing company-owned equipment and spare parts inventory, and supporting departmental goals for customer satisfaction, quality, and service excellence. This position requires approximately 75% travel and frequent interaction with healthcare facilities, including hospitals, operating rooms, cleanrooms, and warehouses.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of experience in a medical device or related technical service environment. Strong communication, customer service, computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office and ERP systems), attention to detail, and a valid driver's license are required. An associate degree or equivalent technical education is preferred, along with the ability to travel extensively by air, train, or automobile.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position based at CS Medical's headquarters in Creedmoor, North Carolina. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility based on travel and service coverage needs.
