Quality Assurance Inspector

Inspects and measures internally manufactured parts or procured products using various measurement equipment to verify compliance with Click Bond and/or customer furnished engineering drawings and procedures. Completes inspection records, Physical and Chemical certifications, assists with AS9102 FAI's, and non-conformance documentation. Makes entries in Click Bond ERP/MRP system. Verifies all documentation is complete and without errors prior to parts being shipped to external customers. Interacts with both internal and external customers in a polite, courteous manner.

Use inspection equipment (micrometer, caliper, optical measurement equipment) to determine product conformance with engineering drawings, purchase orders and associated specifications. Produce customer facing reports of inspection acceptance or non-conformance and make appropriate computer entries. Stamp mark of approval for procured product, internally produced product, or appropriate shipping documentation. Produce reports of traceability and certificates of compliance. Test materials as necessary Verify all documentation. Perform In Process, Final and Shipping inspections. Communicate and work with internal customers. Management of non-conforming material and parts Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor. Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CB policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas. Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented. Other duties as assigned.

Consistently at work and on time. Follows written and verbal instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person of an alternate plan. Ability to read and interpret documents such as aerospace procedures, engineering requirements, safety rules, and quality assurance manual. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer navigation skills as well as experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP/MRP inventory software and manufacturing software. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills with a customer focused mindset Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action Basic knowledge of FAI's Ability to write and read English. Minimum of 1 year of inspection Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility required. High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) required. Certifications from professional organizations (i.e., ASQ CQI (Certified Quality Inspector)) are preferred. Experience with GD&T preferred Experience with 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles
