The RoleOur Warehouse Specialist is responsible for all delivery intake within the facility, shipping supplies in a timely manner, maintaining strict organization within the warehouse, helping to ensure proper inventory, and communicating effectively with the team.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, unload, store, and deliver internally all materialsproductsKeep accurate records of receipts and shipments, contact shipper(s) directly if any discrepancies are found or if the shipment was damaged in any way.Pull supplies from inventory and prepare them for productionFill orders for supplies and equipment as approvedMaintain weekly inventory reconciliationMaintain the warehouse receivingshipping areas in a neat and orderly fashionPerform cycle counting responsibilitiesReceive and check inbound goods for accuracy and place in proper locationData Entry of inventory, inboundoutbound ordersPreparing items for shipments and making arrangements inclusive of contacting vendors, preparing pack list, bill of ladingVerify packing list against PO's to ensure receipt and provide to finance for approval of paymentPrepare, pack, label, and shrink band product for shipmentOrganize shipments of goods between sites, from suppliers to GTI facilitiesEstablish relationships with key business and supply partnersSupport and participate in inventory and cycle count activities including reconciliationMaximize effectiveness of spaceQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or G.E.D1-2 years of previouswarehouseexperience preferred.Good communication, organization, time management, and mathematicalskillsDependable and reliableInventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computerskills requiredPallet stacker, pallet jack, and/or forklift experience preferred (no certification necessary)Attention to detailEffective communication skillsStrong work ethicWillingness to learn and improve each operationAbility to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (e.g. preparing products for packaging, packaging products, and regular inventory)Availability to work occasional weekends and holidaysEager to learn and enthusiasticBasic computer skillsAble to perform intermediate accounting tasks; addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, and weight measures.Previous cannabis experience not requiredAdditional RequirementsMust possess valid government-issued IDMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust pass any and all required background checks, including a MVR background checkMust be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust be able to be approved by the CCB to receive an Agent badgeWorking ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, reaching, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, walking, seeing and repetitive motionsRegular use of tools/equipment including ladders, pallet jacks, and pallet stackerMust be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focusPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds unassisted (and up to 300 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.
