Being a food Packer, you will typically work on a fast-moving production line, with food passing down on conveyor belts, through a variety of stages; mixing, cooking and packaging.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Responsible for adding goods into their correct mass flow containers and preparing them for disbursement. Cleans and prepares containers before placing goods in them.Inspects materials and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.Weighs or measures materials or products to ensure conformance to specifications.Identifies and marks materials, products, and samples, following instructions.Records production and operational information and data on specified forms.Modifies materials and products during manufacturing process to meet requirements.Moves controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.Feeds materials into machines and equipment to process and manufacture products.Loads materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.Removes materials and products from machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.Off bears materials and products from machines and equipment, using hand tools.And all other duties required in the packing and feeder positionQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
